Dice

(A review of The Adventures of Ford Fairlane)This movie was a surprisingly good 80s detective movie, especially considering the brash, foulmouthed Andrew Dice Clay was the star. Got to admit though, he was pretty good, and I am surprised we got no sequels in the series...

Transformers

(A review of Transformers)Great action but it seemed geared more towards kids (which is an obvious adaptation from the cartoon), but it was a little too kooky for me at times.

Dexter

(A review of Dexter - The First Season)This series is truly obsessive. Dexter is an unbelievable character and Michael C. Hall does him every bit of justice.

Revolver

(A review of Revolver)More ambiguous than ever, Guy Ritchie continues his assault on the crime genre with this limited release gem. Unfortunately, the movie leaves little to the viewer in understanding as the movies outcome is left open to suggestion. I have my two theories, but without knowing a single person who has seen it, I am left questioning even my own understanding. Much like Memento, I may have to give this one another view to truly accept it.

American Gangster

(A review of American Gangster)All build up, no bang. Denzel really plays the role, but it is hard to make the connection with Russell Crowe's character.

(A review of OCEANS 13)The heists are getting more and more outrageous and absurd, but definitely worth watching.

(A review of Knocked Up (Unrated Widescreen Edition))Definitely funny, but its not till Superbad that Seth Rogen breaks the mold.

Pet Sematary 2

(A review of Pet Sematary II)Ouch. Not the followup Edward Furlong had envisioned after breaking waves in T2. This one is bad. Picture a zombie version of Cujo.

Halloween 5

(A review of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers)More of the same, like Michael Myers, Donald Pleasance just never seems to go away.

(A review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers)How can you not love the Halloween series? It ay be fading out with originality but what do you expect from a man that never dies?
