Ernest Saves Xmas

Posted : 9 months, 3 weeks ago on 22 December 2007 01:21 (A review of Ernest Saves Christmas)

How Jim Varney was given chance after chance to continue his career is beyond me. But hey, it's a Christmas movie, how can you hate on that?

SNL XMAS

Classic Christmas scenes from SNL's archives. Matt Foley really knows how to bring out the xmas spirit.

Eight Crazy Nights

Definitely got some comedy to make you laugh around the holiday's, but don't expect a typical Adam Sandler gem.

Black Xmas

Nothing like a holiday slasher film to bring out the Christmas spirit...

Superbad

I haven't laughed this hard in a movie theater since American Pie, and coincidently, Superbad is way better than its predecessor.

Prestige

Pay close attention because Christopher Nolan rolls out another gem in Memento fashion. Beautiful twists in this one along with some much deserving recognition to my hero, the world's most brilliant man, Nikola Tesla.

Transformers

Great action but it seemed geared more towards kids (which is an obvious adaptation from the cartoon), but it was a little too kooky for me at times.

Dexter

Posted : 10 months, 1 week ago on 29 November 2007 12:32 (A review of Dexter - The First Season)

This series is truly obsessive. Dexter is an unbelievable character and Michael C. Hall does him every bit of justice.

Revolver

Posted : 10 months, 1 week ago on 29 November 2007 12:30 (A review of Revolver)

More ambiguous than ever, Guy Ritchie continues his assault on the crime genre with this limited release gem. Unfortunately, the movie leaves little to the viewer in understanding as the movies outcome is left open to suggestion. I have my two theories, but without knowing a single person who has seen it, I am left questioning even my own understanding. Much like Memento, I may have to give this one another view to truly accept it.
