Kingdom of Heaven

Nothing new here. A recycled formulaic period piece set in Jerusalem. Once again, the story centers around one man's courage to lead his people to freedom, blah, blah, blah...

What crime action movie wasn't James Belushi in during the 80's? Good but typical.

Dice

This movie was a surprisingly good 80s detective movie, especially considering the brash, foulmouthed Andrew Dice Clay was the star. Got to admit though, he was pretty good, and I am surprised we got no sequels in the series...

Pet Sematary 2

Ouch. Not the followup Edward Furlong had envisioned after breaking waves in T2. This one is bad. Picture a zombie version of Cujo.

Halloween 5

More of the same, like Michael Myers, Donald Pleasance just never seems to go away.

Halloween 4

How can you not love the Halloween series? It ay be fading out with originality but what do you expect from a man that never dies?

3 Burials

Overall, Tommy Lee Jones delivers a great message but the ending falls short of expectations. Great location and setting.

Transformers

Great action but it seemed geared more towards kids (which is an obvious adaptation from the cartoon), but it was a little too kooky for me at times.

Dan in Real Life

Posted : 10 months, 2 weeks ago on 29 November 2007 11:57 (A review of Dan in Real Life)

Love Steve Carell. Dane Cook continues to prove that the leap from standup to the silver screen is not working. Overall, it was good, but extremely awkward situations made me squirm in my theater seat. I definitely could have waited till video.
