Halloween in August

Rob Zombie is a genius with his character development. Not only does he introduce Michael Myers as a child, he takes the original movie's focus on Lori Strode and redirects back onto what should have been the main character all along, Michael Myers. I love both equally, but the rebirth is by far the gorier and more disturbing.

No Keanu is a plus but Jason Patric isn't much of an upgrade. Great action but Willem Defoe's motives are pretty thin.
