Book of Secrets

Posted : 16 years, 11 months ago on 23 December 2007 06:18 (A review of National Treasure: Book of Secrets)

God I love this genre of movies, I love it so much that I can even withstand watching one of my top 5 worst actors in Hollywood, Nic Cage. However, the beauty of this film is, it doesn't matter who plays the lead. Definitely a great followup to the original, and a great number of clues that will undoubtably lead to next installment.

FreeDUMBland

Posted : 16 years, 11 months ago on 23 December 2007 06:07 (A review of Freedomland)

Freedomland? More like FreeDUMBland. How did the writers of this movie possibly think they could draw out and highlight the existence of racial separation still found throughout the US with such a weak plot revolving around the worst performance of Julianne Moore's career? I mean seriously, it was a poor attempt to bring awareness to the American public.

Ernest Saves Xmas

How Jim Varney was given chance after chance to continue his career is beyond me. But hey, it's a Christmas movie, how can you hate on that?

Casino Ripoff

Posted : 16 years, 11 months ago on 22 December 2007 07:08 (A review of Casino Royale)

If I could have given this zero stars I would have. I actually had to turn it off half way through, I couldn't take the fact that Peter Sellers and Orson Welles would stoop so low to break such a magnificent franchise.

Annapolis

Posted : 16 years, 11 months ago on 22 December 2007 07:06 (A review of Annapolis)

Jordana Brewster is hot, but come on. And James Franco? Harry freaking Osborn? Give me a break, let the man in the red spider suit take the lead, you are not ready for the spotlight.

Prestige

Posted : 17 years ago on 2 December 2007 06:34 (A review of The Prestige)

Pay close attention because Christopher Nolan rolls out another gem in Memento fashion. Beautiful twists in this one along with some much deserving recognition to my hero, the world's most brilliant man, Nikola Tesla.

10th and Wolf

Posted : 17 years ago on 30 November 2007 11:31 (A review of 10th & Wolf)

Nothing new or special from this typical mob story. G.Ribisi plays the role well, but outside of his performance there is little to make this a recommended film.

Kingdom of Heaven

Posted : 17 years ago on 30 November 2007 11:28 (A review of Kingdom of Heaven)

Nothing new here. A recycled formulaic period piece set in Jerusalem. Once again, the story centers around one man's courage to lead his people to freedom, blah, blah, blah...

Dice

Posted : 17 years ago on 29 November 2007 06:47 (A review of The Adventures of Ford Fairlane)

This movie was a surprisingly good 80s detective movie, especially considering the brash, foulmouthed Andrew Dice Clay was the star. Got to admit though, he was pretty good, and I am surprised we got no sequels in the series...

Transformers

Posted : 17 years ago on 29 November 2007 06:40 (A review of Transformers)

Great action but it seemed geared more towards kids (which is an obvious adaptation from the cartoon), but it was a little too kooky for me at times.
