I Wish I Could See No Evil
Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 6 December 2006 06:13 (A review of Hear No Evil (1993))After watching this film I had to get me ears checked from all the pointless screams of Marlee Matlin. Take about cheap suspense, bad storyline, and one of the worst twists in movie history.

The Aviator
Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 6 December 2006 06:02 (A review of The Aviator)Martin Scorsese's portrayal of Howard Hughes is by far one of the best biographies I have seen on the big screen. Leonardo DiCaprio is brilliant with his on-screen transition into the later, more crazed years of Hughes' life. Although this movie displayed the known historical background of Howard Hughes and his rise in the aviation world, I would love to see a movie based on his involvement in the Gemstone Files of Bruce Roberts.

No Shadows Here
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 29 November 2006 06:29 (A review of Shadow Conspiracy)It is a typical but very intense government conspiracy thriller that delivers the mystery without question, until of course you realize that Donald Sutherland is in it. Charlie Sheen plays the perfect arrogant patsy a la Wall Street.

Hip Nerds
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 28 November 2006 08:24 (A review of Real Genius)I think I have a soft spot for any comedy to come out of the 80s. But to be quite honest, Real Genius is more than that, it's a good film in its own right. Val Kilmer heads a pack of really hip nerds to the top of the science echelon of the famed MIT. The comedy is as brilliant as the characters and the ensuing revenge is worth the entire hour and a half of preceding foreplay.

Time Travel
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 28 November 2006 08:18 (A review of Primer)It's not a new concept to the science fiction genre, but this time travel film is by far the best at creating a sense of believability through its documentary-like cinematography. The actual science behind the theory unravels the mystery of moving through space and time and the ultimate consequences on the physical body and present surrounding world.

Why?
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 28 November 2006 07:57 (A review of Original Sin)I never quite understood what this movie was about besides Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie having sex. I get the title, but was this movie really necessary?

White House Mystery
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 28 November 2006 07:29 (A review of Murder at 1600)Somehow, I always associate Wesley Snipes with movies that fall just under the cuff of the Hollywood elite (aka he's a B movie star), but this one left enough mystery to keep me interested. The concept alone is thrilling and somewhat ripped from the headlines, making it more believable. A definite must-see.

Mr. and Mrs. Jolie
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 28 November 2006 07:04 (A review of Mr. & Mrs. Smith)I guess I didn't see the on-screen chemistry that led to the development of Hollywood's latest power couple. It was a bit more on-screen friction than anything and I think all the hype ruined the movie. Good action, weak story, weaker romance.

I, Robot
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 28 November 2006 06:45 (A review of I, Robot)Will Smith proves why he was king of the summer blockbusters in I,Robot. Aside from some great action, the storyline was just as good, even though we've heard the futuristic scenario many times before.

Ice Age
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 28 November 2006 06:39 (A review of Ice Age)I am not a big fan of animated movies, but Ice Age was fun. I don't think I will ever understand Hollywood stars' obsession with bringing animated characters to life with their golden voices but what can I say, that's Hollywood egos for you.
