Harrison Fraud

Posted : 18 years ago on 27 November 2006 08:33 (A review of Firewall)

Another typical modern Harrison Ford disaster. Predictable from beginning to end. Bank Fraud? The only believable fraud in this movie was trying to convince us that an online security bank consultant can turn himself into Rambo.

Sell Out

Posted : 18 years ago on 27 November 2006 08:28 (A review of Fever Pitch)

Speaking of selling out, I will tell you the only movie that will sell out the Red Sox name and not sellout any seats in theatres, Fever Pitch. A title so bad it almost dwarfs Jimmy Fallonรขย€ย™s talent as an actor. I mean, if you are going for bad, where was Ben Affleck? I am sure Matt Damon could have won the role of Drew Barrymore.

Classic

Posted : 18 years ago on 27 November 2006 07:06 (A review of Ghostbusters)

This science fiction comedy sits atop a decade of 80s classics. Bill Murray plays up the comedy as he, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis lead an all out assault on New York city's paranormal problems. The Stay Puft marshmallow man provides the ultimate ending to an this classic.

Define Crazy

Posted : 18 years ago on 27 November 2006 01:04 (A review of Single White Female)

Jennifer Jason Leigh stars in her creepiest role ever playing friend/stalker/murderer to a sexy Bridget Fonda. Wings star Steven Weber has to have the worst death ever following some crazy oral sex.

Spoof Hard

Posted : 18 years ago on 25 November 2006 05:31 (A review of Spy Hard)

Spoof king Leslie Nielsen does it again with the help of a twisted Andy Griffith in Spy Hard. Unlike the Naked Gun series, this installment delivers the comedy but the story fails to keep the interest.

Mission Untopable

Posted : 18 years ago on 24 November 2006 11:06 (A review of Mission: Impossible III (Widescreen Edition))

It's unfortunate that Tom Cruise's outside life has shamed his career so much, because his movies are just down right bad ass. This film is an action packed adventure full of mystery and intrigue.

Cape Fear

Posted : 18 years ago on 24 November 2006 11:02 (A review of Cape Fear)

Robert De Niro is horrifying in his role as an ex-con looking for revenge on the lawyer that failed to keep him out of prison. I was surprised however to find out that Martin Scorsese directed the film. The black and white negative spots littered throughout just don't work for me.

Analyze This

Posted : 18 years ago on 23 November 2006 10:45 (A review of Analyze This)

Robert De Niro is himself, in typical mobster fashion, but this is a comedy, and De Niro far surpasses his counterpart Billy Crystal to overtake the film.

MILW

Posted : 18 years ago on 23 November 2006 10:41 (A review of American Pie)

Movie I Love to Watch. The original is the best, and this teen comedy revitalized an entire genre with the story of a quest for the teenage Holy Grail, sex. Stifler's mom also introduced the world to the MILF, the single greatest acronym to come out of the verbal slang movement.

Bad is Good

Posted : 18 years ago on 23 November 2006 10:37 (A review of American Outlaws)

Ali Larter may be a Hero, but Colin Farrell reverses the image of bad boy Jesse James in this modern remake of the midwest's legendary outlaws. Doesn't feel like a western, but the action is entertaining.
